Ms. Jamie Cohen

I'm looking forward to getting to know your children this year, and embarking on a wonderful journey of learning in fourth grade.  We will be working on many engaging activities as well as enjoy many adventures through literature.  I hope you are all excited about being fourth graders!

 About Me:

*This will be my 26th year as a teacher in the Baldwin School District.

*I began my teaching career as a fifth grade teacher at Shubert School and taught fifth grade for three years.  For sixteen years I taught fourth grade at Brookside School.  My first year at Lenox School I taught third grade.  This will be my seventh year at Lenox School, and my sixth year of teaching fourth grade at Lenox.   Fun Fact: My father and I taught together my first three years at Shubert.  He was a physical education teacher and varsity basketball coach, but retired in 2000.

*I have my Masters + 60 credits.

* Everyone in my family is an educator.  My mother taught kindergarten, my father was a physical education teacher, my sister teaches fifth grade, and I teach fourth grade.

* I am a proud aunt of two nieces.
