Reading is my passion and I will share this love of reading with my students. We will read together as a group, and share read alouds. At home, your child should read what they love. Reading should never be a chore. Reading should be an adventure, a time to take a "mind journey". Before bedtime, cuddle with your child and read. You could be reading the newspaper and your child could read their own book. You can even share the same novel. Make it a time you both look forward to. This is a great way to wind down from a busy day!
