The Baldwin Union Free School District is pleased to offer a Pre-K Program through the New York State Universal Pre-K (UPK) Expansion Funding initiative. Baldwin UFSD's Universal Pre-K Program is a collaboration with Just Kids Early Childhood Learning and provides a developmentally appropriate environment with learning activities to help prepare children for Kindergarten.
To be eligible for the district’s Universal Pre-K Program, students must turn 4 years old by December 1, 2022 and are currently and will continue to be a resident within the boundaries of the Baldwin Union Free School District.
As of now, the district's Universal Pre-K Program is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested families are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The selected applicants will then need to proceed with the registration process at the District Office by appointment. Proof of residency to be officially enrolled for the 2022-23 school year must be provided.
The Universal Pre-K Program’s first day of school is planned for September 6, 2022.
