Mrs. Duffy - Earth Science

Welcome to my Earth Science class website.  This is my 7th year teaching and 2nd year at Baldwin Middle School. Before coming to Baldwin,  I taught science in NYC for 5 years.  In addition, I previously worked for the American Geosciences Institute as the Outreach and Education Assistant.  I have also worked as a teaching assistant at Binghamton University. I have a passion for Earth Science and want my students to become scientifically literate.  I don't expect them to know every tiny detail about the Earth, but I do expect that they have a fundamental understanding of how Earth Science affects them.  I have high standards, high expectations, and don't take excuses.  I guarantee you will learn something if you come to class, pay attention, and complete your assignments on time.
