Hello, I am thrilled to be your child's 8th-grade science teacher. My passion for all things science has led me on an exciting journey, starting with a Bachelor's in Biology from Lycoming College, followed by a Master's in Environmental Studies and another Master's in Earth Science Education from Long Island University. I have certifications in General Science, Biology, and Earth Science. Before I embarked on my teaching career, I worked as an applications chemist, where I specialized in testing groundwater for petroleum contamination caused by oil and gasoline spills. What truly drives me as an educator is not just imparting knowledge but also fostering strong and positive relationships with my students. I firmly believe that every student possesses the potential to learn and excel in the classroom, and I am committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where each student feels valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their full potential.
