The Concerned Parents of Baldwin is composed of parents whose children attend the Baldwin schools. The organization's primary focus has been the recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to work with the district to present an annual assembly and poster contest in memory of Dr. King. At the assembly, Concerned Parents also grants Humanitarian Awards to Baldwin students who exemplify the ideas of Dr. King by actively participating in school and community outreach and demonstrating an awareness and sensitivity toward others.
