The Public Information Office is responsible for our district's communications. This includes publishing the district newsletter, The Baldwin Beat, as well as sending current news to the media to promote the accomplishments of students and staff. This office also produces the annual District Calendar Guide and provides information to the public regarding district programs. Additionally, the public information officer (PIO) sends out districtwide and emergency notifications, such as school closings due to inclement weather.

District Calendar Guide
A hard copy of the district calendar is sent out in August before the school year begins. The website calendar will always have the most up-to-date information.

Through email, text, and phone calls, Baldwin UFSD disseminates information that is of interest to parents, students, and community members, as well as emergency messaging.

Parents and Students
Please make sure your most up-to-date contact information, including a cell phone number and email address, is provided to the Main Office of your child’s school.If you are NOT receiving messages but your information is up to date, check your spam/junk folder and add noreply@baldwinschools.org to your safe-senders list. Otherwise, contact your child's school to make sure the information on file is accurate.
Private/Parochial School
If you are a Baldwin resident with a child in a private or parochial school and do NOT receive notifications, check your spam/junk folder and add noreply@baldwinschools.org to your safe-senders list. Virtual Backpacks
Many of our events and programs are advertised via flyers posted in the virtual backpacks of each school.
To access your child's virtual backpack, go to the Our Schools section of your child’s school's site or click on the backpack icon on the right-hand side scroll bar.

Parent and Student Portal
The
eSchool Portal is available to parents of students in grades K-12 and available to students in grades 6-12. The system allows you to view curriculum-related documents including progress reports, report cards, schedules, daily attendance, and transcripts. You can also access teacher's email addresses. Visit the portal section for more information and to access eSchool.

Gold Card for Senior Citizens
Senior citizens may obtain a free Gold Card from the Public Information Office located at the District Office, 960 Hastings Street, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday (Monday through Thursday for July and August). The Gold Card entitles Baldwin residents ages 60 or older to receive discounted tickets to some school productions, athletics events, and Continuing Education classes.
