Degrees and Certifications:
English as a New Language Teacher
I am excited to be working in the Baldwin School District with so many diverse learners and faculty members. Each day, I look forward to helping my students gain an understanding of the English language and reading and writing skills. These skills will help my students today, tomorrow, and every day after that.
I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelors of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. While teaching in Baldwin, I earned my Master's Degree from Touro College in Teaching Literacy grades Kindergarten through 12. I also have a supplementary certificate in Secondary English grades 7-12 and I am currently working towards completing my Advanced certificate.
I also completed a Google Educator course through Stonybrook University. This experience allows me to bring technology into my classroom and teach my students how to manipulate various tools and resources.
