Baldwin Board of Education President Highlighted in Newsday

Pamela Green Receives 2026 Outstanding School Board Service Award

Pamela Green, of Baldwin, has received the 2026 Outstanding School Board Service Award from the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association for her “decades of distinguished leadership and unwavering commitment to public education and the Baldwin community,” according to Baldwin Union Free School District. Green was elected to the district’s school board in 2023 and was selected to serve as board president for the 2025-26 school year, district officials said. She is also a parent of five Baldwin High School graduates and, during her career, has held positions including special education teacher, dean of students and diversity chairwoman for the Nassau Region PTA, according to the district.
