Baldwin Union Free School District Honored with Prestigious Communication Award

The Baldwin Union Free School District is proud to announce it has received an “Award of Merit” in the website category of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) 2025 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards Contest. This year's award-winning entries exemplify the impactful, innovative work shaping the future of school communication.

The NSPRA Publication and Digital Media Awards celebrate outstanding print and digital communications in education, covering categories like publications, newsletters, videos, podcasts, websites, and social media.

Entries are evaluated within their respective categories based on the organization's type and size. Each submission is assessed for overall excellence and quality in comparison to others in the category. The award can only go to websites launched the same year the award is given.

Last school year, Baldwin UFSD launched a new website that was developed through extensive research on current and future digital communication trends, web analytics, and feedback from various stakeholders, including families and community members. The enhanced digital experience was designed not only to be visually appealing but also to improve usability and mobile functionality.

This marks the second occasion the district has been honored with this award for a new website, the first recognition having occurred in 2019 following the launch of the previous site.

In recognition of this achievement, NSPRA granted Baldwin UFSD a digital badge to share electronically via email or social media, as well as displayed on marketing materials, email signatures, job boards, and more!
