Baldwin Welcomes More than 20 New Educators and Staff Members for 2026-27 School Year

Baldwin Union Free School District welcomed more than 20 new educators and staff through the district’s robust New Staff Orientation program. The week-long professional learning experience provides the new teachers and other support staff an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the district, meet colleagues, and understand what it means to be part of the Baldwin family.

Throughout the orientation, district leaders conveyed Baldwin’s mission, vision, and dedication to offering students innovative, future-focused learning experiences. New staff members were also briefed on the district’s instructional priorities, programs, and resources, as well as the support available throughout the school year.

A central aspect of the orientation was Baldwin’s Future Ready Competencies: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, civics, and character. These competencies are integrated into the student experience and represent the skills and qualities Baldwin aims to cultivate in every learner.
