Baldwin High School French Students Win Prizes in AATF French Poetry Contest
Bave Endly Dorval, Ojudun Oluwatoke Jadine, Edelin Labastille, and Brad Pierre Honored During Awards Ceremony
Baldwin High School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of four of its French students who recently excelled at the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) Poetry Recitation Contest. Bave Endly Dorval, Ojudun Oluwatoke Jadine, Edelin Labastille, and Brad Pierre showcased their exceptional talent in reciting French poems, earning well-deserved recognition and prizes for their captivating performances. Their participation and success in this prestigious contest highlight Baldwin High School's commitment to fostering linguistic and cultural appreciation among its students.
French teacher Céline Milin, who guided the students through their preparation, expressed her immense pride in their accomplishments. She remarked on the dedication and passion each student demonstrated, which undoubtedly contributed to their success.
“Toutes mes félicitations a nos gagnants du concours de poésie, Toke, Bave, Brad & Edelin. I am proud of your dedication to the French language, and for representing Baldwin High School with such distinction, keep up with your French skills!” she said.
The students were honored with medals during an awards ceremony.
