Baldwin UFSD Hosts Annual MLK Jr. Poster Contest and Reception
Certificates Presented to 4th Grade Winners
Fourth-grade students from Baldwin Union Free School District's elementary schools were honored at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Poster Contest and Reception. This long-standing tradition initiated by the Concerned Parents of Baldwin and now organized by the Fine & Performing Arts Department, centered around the theme of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life of service. Winners from each fourth-grade class were chosen by their school principals and art teachers. During the reception, these outstanding students received certificates to recognize their achievements. To commemorate Black History Month, the posters will be displayed at the District Office throughout February.
