Baldwin UFSD Wins in Two Categories for 2025 Best of Long Island Competition

The Baldwin Union Free School District is proud to announce that the district won two categories in Bethpage Credit Union’s 2025 Best of Long Island competition this year. Dr. Erica Taylor has been named “Best Principal” and for the third consecutive year, Ms. Meghan Kargman won for “Best School Psychologist.”   

“The district is thrilled to once again be recognized among the ‘Best of Long Island’,” said Dr. Shari Camhi, superintendent of schools for Baldwin UFSD. “Dr. Erica Taylor is an exceptional principal while Ms. Meghan Kargman continues to demonstrate remarkable dedication to supporting our students' mental wellness. We are immensely proud of Dr. Taylor and Ms. Kargman as well as all of our Baldwin nominees this year.”

The Bethpage Credit Union has been hosting the “Best of LI” contest for nearly 20 years to serve as “a roadmap to the best, top-notch businesses and services throughout both Nassau and Suffolk counties, as chosen by [Long Islanders], the residents and patrons who rely on them, every single day.” The yearly competition stands as the largest contest of its kind on Long Island.
