Dr. Shari Camhi Invited to Join Elite Network of Distinguished Educators
Baldwin Superintendent Among 24 Superintendents Nationwide Selected
Baldwin Union Free School District is pleased to announce that Superintendent Dr. Shari Camhi has been invited as a founding member of the nation's Network of Distinguished Educators—an elite group of twenty-four superintendents from across the country who are dedicated to enhancing public education.
The network was launched through a collaboration between the School Superintendents Association (AASA) and PDK International, with the stated goal to support the needs of superintendents who have proven success with impact. This highly selective group of education leaders will bring together a diverse set of leaders who understand what can be gained from trusted colleagues who are ready to work together to advance innovation and impact with solutions for realizing the potential of schools aligned to best serve the needs of students.
Dr. Camhi recently attended the inaugural meeting of the Network of Distinguished Educators, where she along with the other members, met with the U.S. Department of Education to discuss current issues, including the impact of federal policies and the need to create a path of innovation for our nation's public education systems.
