Baldwin High School and Middle School Students Appreciate ‘Valuable’ Hands-on Learning Experience
Students in the Baldwin High School Global Business & Entrepreneurship Academy and Baldwin Middle School "Show Me the Money" and Junior Virtual Enterprise Pre-Academies recently participated in a Leaving2Learn at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. There, they had the opportunity to explore the Museum and Learning Center to help deepen their knowledge of economic principles and the Federal Reserve's influence on the economy. The fun and enlightening learning excursion focused on critical thinking and real-world applications of their classroom learning.
During their visit, Baldwin students engaged with interactive exhibits and guided discussions that not only simplify complex economic concepts but inspired them to delve into such topics as monetary policy, banking systems, and the significance of financial literacy. The students gained a richer understanding of how economic systems function and their relevance in daily life. The experience also taught Baldwin students to critically analyze economic issues impacting their community and the nation.
