Todd Kaminsky Visits Baldwin High School for “America's Legislators Back to School” Program
New York State senator Todd Kaminsky recently visited Baldwin High School as part of America’s Legislative Back to School program, where he spoke with students in the AP United States Government class, taught by social studies teacher, Ms. Corinne Campos. He discussed his career as a prosecutor, the need for criminal justice reform, as well as why he became involved in politics. He also touched upon his roles and responsibilities as a state senator and the connection between his job and the course material, including federalism and the foundational documents of American government. Senator Kaminsky ended his talk with a Q&A session with the students. His wife is a Baldwin High School graduate.
