Elementary Students Recognized for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest
Concerned Parents of Baldwin and Baldwin UFSD Award Certificates to 4th Grade Winners
Baldwin UFSD elementary school students were recently recognized during the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest and Reception—a joint project of Baldwin UFSD and Concerned Parents of Baldwin. Fourth graders were asked to create artwork around the theme, "I Have a Dream." The school principal, along with the art teachers, then select the winners from each fourth grade class. The honorees are recognized during the annual reception, where they are each presented with a certificate. Assemblywoman Judy Griffin was also there to recognize the students. The posters are on display at the District Office for the entire month of February in celebration of Black History Month.
