Baldwin UFSD and BFE Honor Students and Teachers

The Baldwin Tradition of In Recognition of Excellence Continues

The 2019-2020 In Recognition of Excellence, an event unique to the Baldwin Union Free School District, celebrates students and teachers whose actions have made a difference in each other’s lives. Sponsored in part by a grant from the Baldwin Foundation for Education (BFE), the program nominates 10 seniors based on their contributions to their schools, as well as their character. These students then select three teachers—one each from elementary, middle and high school—who touched them the most on both a scholastic and personal level. Through laughter and tears, the seniors shared how their teachers helped them grow into the extraordinary people they are today.
