Baldwin Science Teachers Collectively Create Special Resource for Baldwin Families

Information and Materials Pertaining to Eclipse Now Available!

The Baldwin Union Free School District is excited for the historic eclipse occurring on Monday, April 8, beginning at around 2:11 pm, with a peak time at 3:26 pm.

To help transform this unique astronomical event into a rich and rewarding educational experience for families, Baldwin teachers Ms. Lynette O’Brien, Mr. Dan Baxt, Mrs. Dawn Thompson, and Ms. Teresa Leite and Director of Curriculum, Dr. Stephanie Rengifo, have created a custom online resource that includes a plethora of information and materials pertaining to the eclipse to use at home. This website also provides safety guidelines for viewing the solar eclipse.
