Baldwin UFSD Holds Annual MLK Jr. Poster Contest and Reception
Certificates Awarded to 4th Grade Winners
Fourth-grade students of Baldwin Union Free School District elementary schools were acknowledged at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest and Reception, a collaborative initiative hosted by the district and inspired by The Concerned Parents of Baldwin. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s life of service was the theme for the students' artwork, and the winners from each fourth-grade class were selected by their school principal and art teachers. The distinguished winners were awarded certificates during the annual reception. In celebration of Black History Month, the posters will be exhibited at the District Office throughout February.
